Jim Boley brings a diverse and accomplished background to the McCall Real Estate Company. With over 25 years of experience as a legal counsel and seasoned litigator, Jim has provided legal expertise in both private practice and as in-house General Counsel for a high-tech software services company. His legal career includes advising clients in various industries, handling litigation, and providing leadership training and coaching at the executive level. Now, Jim leverages his exceptional communication and negotiation skills to represent buyers and sellers in Idaho real estate transactions, always upholding the highest standards of accountability, transparency, and integrity.

Before transitioning to real estate, Jim was General Counsel for 5D Robotics, where he was responsible for all legal affairs and was a key member of the executive leadership team. He also practiced as a shareholder (partner) at Neil, Dymott, Perkins, Brown & Frank, where his client list ranged from medical professionals to celebrities like Ozzy Osbourne, Jewel, and The Stone Temple Pilots. Jim often jokes that his experience with unpredictable personalities like Osbourne prepared him well for working with buyers and sellers in the real estate market.

Jim is a member of the Mountain Central Association of Realtors, the Idaho Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors, adhering to the NAR Code of Ethics. He also maintains an active California State Bar license and holds the highest AV rating for competency and ethics.

Active in the McCall community, Jim is the Immediate Past President of the McCall Payette Lakes Rotary Club, the current Rotary District 5400 Membership Chairman, and a founding member of the West Central Mountains Leadership Academy. He is also a past board member of McPaws Regional Animal Shelter.

When he’s not working, Jim enjoys fishing, hiking, and exploring the high mountain lakes of Central Idaho. A self-described “foodie,” Jim is also an expert on fine dining and local restaurant recommendations—so if you’re looking for tips on the best cuisine in the area, he’s your go-to source!
